Squirrel Talkin' and Truffle Shufflin'

Hi this is Haidyn and Sydney!

Sydney: This day was so funny because I was talking to these blonde tailed squirrels at the park. they were named Buck, Chip-chomp, and Fluffernutter. I fed them some leftover bread from our lunch in the park and got to know them pretty well. Buck is dating a mockingbird called Sassy. I could tell because her body language was totally showing that she was into Chip-Chomp. So then Buck broke up with her and I could just tell that Buck was just crying on the inside. Fluffernutter on the other hand, was totally checking out this blade of grass. Overall it was very fun and those squirrels have a lot of drama!

Haidyn: Tonight we were playing kickball with all the youth groups here at the CROSS program.
I was on the Enchilada team with Taylor. I was doing the truffle shuffle to distract some players on the other team (team Chicken). Lindsay was the ultimate cheerleader since her knee stills hurts. When we broke into different teams, I met a guy named Bennett (I call him Benedict) from Georgia. He calls me the truffle shuffle girl now. It's really fun playing kickball and getting to meet new people.

Sounds like fun. Did Lindsay bring her pom poms from home? Have a great day.
