Today we are going to spend a few moments thinking about what it means to follow. So let’s not mess around let’s talk about the following that often gets us in trouble.
Following directions. Most products come with directions, some with strange directions. You know all of these directions were there for a reason. Someone had done something once to make these necessary.
On packaging for an iron: "Do not iron clothes on body."
On a Sear's hair dryer: "Do not use while sleeping."
On a bar of Dial soap, “Use like regular soap”
On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands
