Sermon text: Mark 11: 12-22

The “Cleansing of the Temple” is one of the most significant acts in the ministry of Jesus.  It is attested to by every Gospel.  In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke the “Cleansing of the Temple” happens on Palm Sunday, immediately after Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.  In the Gospel of John, this event is so important and symbolic that it is portrayed as one of the first things done by Jesus in his ministry. ...
