Join Our LPC Family
Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
We hope two things happen for you when you worship with us – that you will experience God in our midst and the love of this family of God.
We also hope that your visits with us will lead you to join our church family. Whether or not your church background is “Presbyterian,” and wherever you are on your faith journey, we welcome you to our congregation and hope you will make LPC your church home!
We accept new members each Sunday in the Sanctuary following our Worship Services. Simply notify an elder or usher that you wish to join. You may also contact the church office by clicking here or calling (904) 733-8055 to learn more.
You may join Lakewood Presbyterian Church as a full member through:
- Profession of Faith – If you have never been a member of a Christian church but wish to do so now.
- Reaffirmation of Faith – If a previous membership has lapsed, and you wish to renew your vows with LPC’s congregation.
- Letter of Transfer – If you wish to transfer your current membership at another church to LPC.
Students, military personnel and temporary workers may find affiliate membership an attractive option. This is a conditional form of membership that allows you to formally unite with our LPC family while retaining your full membership in your home church. Affiliate members are entitled to all the rights of membership except voting in congregational meetings and holding office.
Visitor Orientation Class
Are you a recent visitor to Lakewood Presbyterian Church? Have you been attending for a while and have some questions about us? Informal classes are held periodically and are always listed on our calendar. Pastor Terry Lucarelli facilitates the classes and they are usually held on the last Sunday of the month at 9:45 a.m. in Benz Hall (the large fellowship hall in the middle of the building next to our Sanctuary - see campus map). Also, please feel free to speak to an elder after service as they are always delighted to talk about Lakewood Presbyterian Church and may be able to answer some of your questions.
