A new slate of elders for the Class of 2014 will be ordained and installed on January 8, 2012.  Beginning their duties are:  Cathy Barnwell, Will Dickey, Pat Eisinger, Dottie Fletcher, Lynn Holmes, Gerald Lee, Sue Mitchell, Don Spencer and Kathryne Fleming (Youth Elder.)  Lisa Wetzel will complete the vacant two-year term of Wayne Isaac.  Thank you to these dedicated members for volunteering to serve our church for the next three years.

    Annual Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner

    We will join together on Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving Day) in LPC’s Benz Hall at 12:00 p.m. for a time of thanks and appetizers.

    Our banuqet will be ready at 1:00 p.m. with turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy will be provided.  All we ask is that you bring yourselves and a dish to share with the group (an appetizer, veggie side, salad and/or dessert).

    • A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. in our newly renovated Benz Hall. 
    • Hear about existing Sunday morning classes for preschoolers through adults, as well as Thursday morning Bible study and Thursday evening Beth Moore Bible study for women. 
    • Ask questions and offer ideas for additional studies. 
    • Stop in to see our newly renovated Christian Education Workroom
    • Young Disciples will lead in the 11:00 a.m. worship service.
    • Rising 4th grade Young Disciples will receive Bibles. 
    • Our wonderful teachers and leaders will be acknowledged. 
    • This is an exciting day in the life of our church so plan to come and share in the adventure of discipleship!
