Get out your dancing shoes and rock the night away with Steve Birthisel and the 17 piece band Fascinating Rhythm. Hosted by the Family Life Ministry in Benz Hall. Join us for dessert, dancing and fellowship that is sure to be an evening to remember with songs from the 40s through the 70s and popular dancing tunes to get your feet moving. Mark your calendars for Friday, April 27th 7p-9p. Cost is $5 per person, children 10 and younger will enjoy an evening with Cierra, $5 per child. Reservations are required for all - please notify the church office by noon on Monday, April 23.

Lakewood Presbyterian Church has formed a team to walk in the Walk MS 2018 in Jacksonville on April 21 at 10:00 a.m. There are several ways you can participate: Sign up to be a walker; sign up to be a volunteer; sign up to do both or make a donation to our team. To participate, contact Lakewood Presbyterian Church at 904-733-8055. We can help you register or donate. While this walk takes place on the same day as our Youth/Choir Rummage Sale, have no fear; you can stop by and shop before we head out to the walk.
We will have a Rummage Sale to support the Youth Ministry and Choir, in Benz Hall on Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come and browse, find your new treasure, and get some great bargains!
Plan on joining us Easter morning following the 8:30 am service as the LPC Youth members serve a pancake breakfast and host an Easter Egg hunt.

This month's Circles and Squares Dinner will be at the home of Chuck and Judy Martin. We will be getting our Irish on with a theme of "Pot Luck" of gold. The Martin's will serve corned beef, please bring a side item. RSVP to the Church Office and to get more information (904) 733-8055
Join us on March 7, at 6:00 p.m., for the next of the Lenten Series "Journey to the Cross," a walk through the life of Jesus, presented by Doris and Alan York who recently returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This week the presentation will be "Jesus from boy to man." The dinner menu will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, and brownies!
Dinner is free for children 10 and under and $6.00 for adults. You may sign up on the friendship pad or contact the church office (733-8055) by noon on Monday.
PEPS is going on a sweet adventure in February with lunch at the Candy Apple Cafe followed by a tour of the Sweet Pete candy factory. We will leave the church at 10:30 a.m. and take the Skyway to cafe. Reservations for the tour must be made in advance so please let the church office (733-8055) know by Monday, February 12 if you will be able to join us.
Once again, the youth are hosting our annual Sweetheart Dinner. This year they are adding live music for listening and dancing after the meal. Steve Birthisel's band will provide the entertainment. The cost will be $8 per person or $15 per couple. Mark your calendar for this fun event. Reservations will be needed, space is limited for this event. More details soon.

We welcome women to join us on Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the home of JoAnn Paylor for dinner and Bible study. You don't have to be part of the LPC family to join us. In response to the Christian lessons learned and love shared at this study, the women take up a collection and donate the funds to a needy charity. In the spirit of the New Year, we will be studying All Things New, which focuses on 2 Corinthians. It will be an 8-week study which will end March 8 (we will not meet on February 1).
