– The Orange Park Chorale fall concert “Love, So Divine” will be held on Friday, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the LPC Sanctuary. The concert will feature the works of Handel, Rutter, Bernstein, Queen and others. The concert is free and open to the public. Invite your friends and neighbors to join you for a lovely concert!

We will have bratwurst and Sourkraut, German potato salad and Black Forest Cake. We will be entertained with German Umpah music!
On Wednesday, September 26 starting at 6:00 p.m. we will enjoy “A Southern Thing” with a menu of pulled pork, 5 cheese macaroni, coleslaw, green beans and moon pies for dessert. The Thursday night bible study group began their study of the book of Job on September 6th. If you missed it, you have not missed out. They will meet each week on Thursdays to continue their study. For more information please call the church office at 733-8055.
Job - A Story of Unlikely Joy
Have you experienced pain or a difficult season in your life? If so, join as we explore Lisa Harper’s newest study and learn how to use our pain to strengthen our faith. This seven-week study is a wonderful time to dig deeper into God’s word and enjoy fellowship with other women.
We welcome new and returning ladies to our 21st Thursday Night Women’s Bible Study Group Session. Even if you cannot make every session, we encourage you to come as often as possible.

After the Fish Fry, stay and play White Elephant Bingo! White elephant bingo, also called Yankee swap or Dirty Santa, is a party game where a white elephant prize is given to a bingo game winner. The goal of a white elephant prize is usually to entertain rather than to gain. The bingo will begin at 6:15 p.m., and will continue until the prizes run out. If you have a white elephant item that you would donate for the game, please wrap it up and bring it with you!
Fish Fry Family Fun – Join us for a fish fry on Saturday, July 7! Dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. in Benz Hall. The menu will consist of fried fish, coleslaw, baked beans, hushpuppies, a grits bar and dessert. The meal cost is only $7 for adults. Children 10 and under eat free! Please sign the friendship pad with the number of adults and children, or call the church office, 733-8055 by noon on Monday, July 2, to R.S.V.P.
Volunteers will meet at the Sulzbacher Center to prepare and serve dinner to approximately 400-500 homeless. Food Prep begins at 3:00 p.m. and then dinner service begins between 5:30 -6:00 p.m. To volunteer please contact the church office at 733-8055. If you have never experienced this outreach project, you will be glad you took part!
The Annual UCOM Choir Festival will be held in the Sanctuary at Lakewood Presbyterian Church, 2001 University Blvd West, at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Talented Choirs and Ensembles will Lift their voices to benefit the United Community Outreach Ministry, which serves those in need in the local community. Admission is free. There will be an opportunity to make a donation to UCOM at the concert.
Presbyterian Women's Birthday
The Presbyterian Women's Birthday Celebration will be held at the Wednesday Night Dinner on May 16, at 6:00 p.m. They will introduce their three chosen missions and provide a traditional birthday cake for dessert.
As it is our last Wednesday Night Dinner until the fall, we will also be entertained by the Sassy Tappers (a senior ladies dance group).
Get out your dancing shoes and rock the night away with Steve Birthisel and the 17 piece band Fascinating Rhythm. Hosted by the Family Life Ministry in Benz Hall. Join us for dessert, dancing and fellowship that is sure to be an evening to remember with songs from the 40s through the 70s and popular dancing tunes to get your feet moving. Mark your calendars for Friday, April 27th 7p-9p. Cost is $5 per person, children 10 and younger will enjoy an evening with Cierra, $5 per child. Reservations are required for all - please notify the church office by noon on Monday, April 23.
Lakewood Presbyterian Church has formed a team to walk in the Walk MS 2018 in Jacksonville on April 21 at 10:00 a.m. There are several ways you can participate: Sign up to be a walker; sign up to be a volunteer; sign up to do both or make a donation to our team. To participate, contact Lakewood Presbyterian Church at 904-733-8055. We can help you register or donate. While this walk takes place on the same day as our Youth/Choir Rummage Sale, have no fear; you can stop by and shop before we head out to the walk.
