Please join your fellow church members for a free luncheon after the single 10:00 a.m. worship service on October 8. You will have a chance to hear members of the Session and staff present aspirational plans and programs for 2018. As we enter our time of budget building for the next year, we all need to dream about the church we want to be and then work towards those dreams coming true. It is exciting, especially after our experiences with Hurricane Irma, to stop together and listen for God's will in our lives and the life of the church. Our menu will feature roast pork, hot German potato salad, green beans, assorted dark breads and black forest cake. Sign up on the Friendship Pad on Sunday under special activity or call the church office by noon on Monday, October 2, to make lunch reservations.
Oct. 4: Buckle my shoe 32! If you know what that means, then you are ready for our highly-competitive Bingo game this week. Join us for a fun night and see who will be crowned the newest champion. Many years ago LPC decided that it was only right to include men in its Presbyterian Women's group. From that decision was born "Circles and Squares", a couples dinner group that meets monthly in members homes. All are welcome to attend. Please read here for information about our next meeting.
